Music Beans was founded by two good friends-Yu-Chen Lin and Yawen Cheng. Both from Taiwan, Yu-Chen and Yawen share a lot in common. They both began their piano lesson at a very young ages (age 4), studied in gifted music programs in Taiwan, and performed in various countries. Most importantly, they LOVE working with children in the music world.

In 2005, they reconnected in Manhattan through their passion in music education and worked in the same music studio (pre-Music Beans).

After years of collaboration in music teaching, they have developed a bond not just professionally but personally. In the year of 2010, with great devotion and enthusiasm, they founded Music Beans to fulfill their dream of having a creative place for music teaching and learning!
