Cindy Huang has performed as a soloist and chamber musician for audiences throughout the United States, Europe and Asia. She is a top prize laureate in competitions including Concours Ile-de-France, Concours Musical de France, Artist Presentation Society Audition (USA), Paderewski International Competition (USA), Krystian Tkaczewski International Piano Competition (Poland), Bradshaw & Buono International Competition and New York Piano Festival & Competition, among many others. Additional honors include “Chopin Special Prize” from the Association of Polish Artists Musicians in France, and “Debussy Special Prize” from Metropolitan International Piano Competition and IBLA Foundation. These honors have led her to perform in distinguished venues such as Carnegie Hall, New York Steinway Hall, Viennese Hall (Salzburg), National Centre for the Performing Arts (Beijing), Beijing Concert Hall, Shanghai Oriental Arts Center, and Shanghai Symphony Hall, to name a few. he has been the featured pianist in a concert tour across Taiwan and has also toured the United States as a winner of the IBLA Prize. In 2011, She was sponsored as one of the 10 most promising Chinese musicians by the Edifier Musician Foundation based in Beijing.
As a passionate chamber musician and collaborative pianist, her duet and trio groups have performed in festivals including Pablo Casals Chamber Music Festival, Musical Odyssey and Shanghai Chamber Music Festival.
Cindy has been teaching at both collegiate levels and private studios since 2008. These experiences have allowed her to gain insight into the musical development of students of varying skill levels. It is her goal to cultivate a comprehensive understanding of music and independent learning skills in students that enable them to find their unique voice as a pianist.
