Josh Bermudez

Education:

• Bachelor's & Master's in Jazz Guitar Performance at University of Miami

Josh Bermudez is an exciting jazz guitarist based in New York City. After completing high school at the renowned New World School of the Arts in Miami,FL, Josh attended the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami to pursue his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Jazz Guitar Performance. While under the tutelage of the legendary John Hart, Josh also played in some of the premiere ensembles at the Frost School, including the Concert Jazz Band and Frost Septet. After graduating with his Master’s, Josh returned to the University of Miami as an Adjunct Professor. Josh also taught jazz ensembles, lectures, and private lessons at Miami-Dade College Kendall Campus. Josh has extensive experience teaching all age groups, from students as young as 5-years-old to middle & high school students to graduate students. In the Fall of 2025, Josh relocated to New York City to pursue a broader performance career. Josh is currently finishing up the final touches on his debut album, set for release in 2025.
