* B.M. in Jazz Piano from Conservatorio Manuel de Falla (Argentina) * M.M. in Piano Performance from Prins Claus Conservatorium (The Netherlands) Santiago Belgrano is a New York based pianist, composer and Steinway Educational Partner. "One of the best talents of Argentine Jazz" according to Clube de Jazz (Brasil). On 2014 he was voted by the press as "revelation musician" in Argentina. His album Vicisitudes was also considered as one of the best albums that year. Santiago has performed with many of the most renowned jazz musicians in the world (Michael Moore, Todd Coolman, Matt Wilson, Jack Walrath, etc.), and has worked as a pianist at Cunard, Royal Caribbean and Holland America's cruises. As a teacher, he taught Ear Training and Solfege to Bachelor's students at Prins Claus Conservatorium (The Netherlands), and has been teaching piano and composition privately for over 12 years. His teachings are influenced by the study of many pedagogues and great minds of 20th century, such as F.M. Alexander, Dorothy Taubman, Edwin Gordon, and Shinichi Suzuki. |
