Ben Fortunato 

Education:
* B.M. in Guitar from Mannes School of Music - The New School

​From Princeton NJ, Ben found his passion in guitar age of 8 and had won the “best soloist” awards at the Princeton, Deptford, Scotchplains, and Pennsbury Jazz competitions during his high school time.
 
He is currently studying Guitar at The New School: School of Jazz and Contemporary Music and also working towards his masters in Business and Entrepreneurship. Ben has been an active performer in New York City and played at numerous venues including the Bitter End, The Green Room 42, Tishman Theatre, Rockwood, The Zinc Bar, Shapeshifter Lab, Shrine, and the Glassbox Theatre. 
 
As a performer, composer and educator, Ben accentuates the collaboration between student and teacher, tailoring his teaching methods to each student’s unique need. At his studio, students will build a solid foundation through ear training, creative composition and obtains a strong sense in performance. Ben is excited to meet and cultivate the talents of his students at Music Beans through his creative and fun teaching style.
