Withdrawal & Refund

• All the requests for withdrawal must be received in writing by Music Beans.
• Tuition is NON-REFUNDABLE after the second class of the registered semester. 
• A tuition credit or refund for unused lessons is available minus a $80 withdrawal fee.
• Students are responsible for the tuition of any lessons within two-week notice period.
• The registration and administration fee are not refundable.  

Absences & Make-ups 

• In order to have makeup lesson scheduled, please notify office 24 hours BEFORE your absence. Make-up lesson will be scheduled at a time that is mutually convenient. 
• 2 make-up lessons allowed for the spring and fall semesters, 1 for the summer semester.
• All the makeup lessons need to be COMPLETED by the end of the registered semester.
• Methods of make-up lessons: 

1. add 15 mins to the following consecutive classes. 
   
2. schedule another mutually convenient day for make-up lesson
3. virtual lessons may be arranged on a case-by-case basis.

How do I register?
Please contact our office by phone (646)770-1599 or fill out our contact form to start the registration process. Class registration is by semester. Registration is on going throughout the semester. Prorated tuition available, base on your start date.

How do I choose between group lessons or private lessons?
Group lessons and private lessons are both beneficial for students in different ways. In a group lesson setting, students will not only learn from the teachers but also from each other. Group lessons help to develop students' musicianship through playing, creative movements, singing, listening…etc. In private lessons, students receive individualized attention from their master teacher and learn all the musicianship elements in depth.

How old does my child has to be to sign up for the lessons?
We believe that nurturing a child's musical potential should start at an early age. We provide group lessons for 2 or 3 year olds to learn essential music elements, develop gross and fine motor skills with creative movements, and expand their musical knowledge. We believe that every child has musical aptitude however everyone is different in personality, maturity..etc., so please do not hesitate to come in and do a trial lesson, we will then be able to set up the class that suits your child the best.

What happens if I have to cancel one of the classes?
If you are unable to attend for any reason, please contact us at least 24 hours before your class. We will schedule a make-up lesson for you! We will accommodate up to 3 missing lessons in one semester.

Is there special pricing for sibling registration?
We offer discounted pricing for family registrations. For more details please contact us.
