Sooyun Kim  received Doctoral degree in Piano Performance at the University of North Texas, where she taught course of Keyboard Skill to undergraduate.  She started playing piano at the age of 5 and received numerous awards of music competitions on her early age in Korea.
She wrote her doctoral paper on how utilizing contemporary music to young piano students’ education and how it may enhance students’ creativity. She believes piano teachers should enrich their students’ musical experience through diversity of style and musical genres.  She is very interested in nurturing creativity and bringing joy to students life through music making.
